Tetracon upgraded Unilever’s control system at its cereal production plant, integrating Siemens S7-1515 PLC and WinCC 7.5 SCADA. The system manages over 2,000 I/O points to optimize production and minimize downtime.
The existing control system was outdated, leading to frequent downtimes and inefficient production flows. Modernizing the system without interrupting daily operations posed a logistical challenge, especially given the plant’s high volume and round-the-clock production schedule.
Tetracon seamlessly replaced the legacy system with a modern, highly efficient PLC and SCADA setup. Through precise planning and minimal downtime, we integrated 2,000 I/O points for real-time monitoring and control, streamlining production and significantly reducing interruptions.
